I’m not that paranoid… am I?? I MAY NOT SEE YOU, BUT JESUS AND THIS CAMERA DOES is a collection of theories, first hand experiences, and found footage discussing the different states of surveillance. From organized mass surveillance to civilian surveillance or in other words sousveillance (to observe those in positions of power), this publication showcases the reality of monitoring systems currently in place and their effect on the public.

Section 01
Each section of the publication, through the text and design provides a new perspective of a surveillance system. The first portion of the publication shows mass surveillance, or monitoring from a position of power (ABOVE).
Section 02
The second section of the publication highlights the realities of racial bias that goes into facial regognition technology, brought on by mass organized surveillance systems (MIDDLE).
Section 03
The last and third core section of the publication discusses sousveillance (to observe those in positions of power), demonstrating what it means to now monitor back higher authorities who thought they were above the surveillance state (BELOW).
Flip Through
Design Process
Through experimentation with polycam scanning, 3D reflective typography, and researching the ways society obtains and maintains surveillance, the image and typographic treatment is formed into the visuals for the publication.
